Mandatory reporting helps protect athletes because it brings important information about concussions in sport to the attention of the CSCC, coaches, and sport organizations. Through these mandatory reports, the College can investigate incidents of possible professional misconduct, incompetence or incapacity on the part of kinesiologists.
